Dubai’s flydubai announces two new flights to Pakistan
New routes underscores flydubai's commitment to expanding its network and providing high-quality service to its passengers.
DUBAI: flydubai announced today the launch of daily flights to Islamabad and Lahore, starting from 1st July 2024. The new routes will operate from Terminal 2 at Dubai International Airport (DXB), significantly enhancing connectivity between the UAE and Pakistan.
According to Emirates News Agency (WAM), Hamad Obaidalla, Chief Commercial Officer at flydubai, emphasized the importance of the Pakistani market to the airline. “Since 2010, when we first started operations in Pakistan, we have seen sustained demand for travel. With the commencement of our daily services to Islamabad and Lahore, we look forward to offering passengers more opportunities to explore Dubai, the GCC region, and beyond on the flydubai network,” Obaidalla stated.

flydubai's operations in Pakistan began with flights to Karachi in 2010. The airline now serves multiple destinations in the country, including Faisalabad, Karachi, Multan, Quetta, and Sialkot, in addition to the new routes to Islamabad and Lahore.
Islamabad, Pakistan's capital, is celebrated for its blend of modernity and natural beauty, featuring numerous museums and picturesque parks. The new flights are expected to provide travelers from the UAE and Pakistan with more convenient and reliable travel options.
Sudhir Sreedharan, Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations (UAE, GCC, Africa, and the Indian Subcontinent) at flydubai, commented on the launch: “flydubai’s new daily services to Islamabad and Lahore will offer our customers from the UAE and Pakistan more convenient and reliable travel options. With our fleet of Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, we are confident that passengers will enjoy an enhanced travel experience with our onboard product.”
